The tiny house craze appears to have taken off across the nation! These pint-sized money savers have been gaining traction in popularity for the last several years, and looking at some of the designs we can see why.
For some, it is a way to save on rent and have the ability to own their own space, while also cutting back on the cost of utilities. For others, it is a way to purchase land, and escape to a quiet place. Others still praise the ability to move these small houses wherever they might want to go.
While the upfront cost can be steep, depending on design, upwards of $30,000 to build your basic home not including the cost of labor, and the cost per square foot can be much more, this is overshadowed by the benefits of lowered utility bills each month.
So what are your thoughts? Would YOU live in a tiny home?
